One Grape - One Wine - One Goal

Syrah - the only wine produced by Lawrence-Faul Winery. All are single vineyard wines produced from only the very best California Syrah. Some people have called this grape 'funky' others have lovingly referred to it as the ultimate and the next big red. Whatever you call it, the wine we all know as syrah or shiraz is produced from this grape and we are quite happy to produce this single varietal.

It is well known that the syrah grape is capable of producing some great wines, everything from the most simple table wines to those that have achieved cult status.

From award winning Templeton, California to Sonoma valley, we pick the vineyards for their exceptional grapes and in some cases award winning wines, but more so we pick the vineyard for the total vineyard. The care and management afforded by the owner, the site, the climate and of course for the quality of the fruit.

We produce only single lots for single vineyards each year. Our products are never available for more than a few weeks after release and we offer futures on our current production.

Our next release will be our 2003 Carriage Vineyards Templeton Syrah. Based on early barrel tastings this one is going to be good. If you like rich dark reds loaded with supple tannins, dark and smokey with bold berry and spice and hints of oak this one is for you.
